Best Breweries to visit before a Football Game, near Hotels in Ann Arbor

Coach Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan Football Team will take the field at The BIg House for the first time in the 2017 season this weekend against the University of Cincinnati.

Homes Brewery

Located at 2321 Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, Homes Brewery has the philosophy that beer should be about people and that the relationships created over great beers matter more. They also offer a number of branded bottled beers, Red and White wines, delicious foods, and several interesting non-alcoholic beverages.

Glasshouse Brewing

The good folks at the Glasshouse refer to their Brewery as the best-kept secret on the West Side of Ann Arbor (maybe after this they won’t remain such a secret). The Glasshouse Brewing Company is located at 2350 West Liberty and offers a 12 beer menu designed to exceed their own expectations (and hopefully yours too).

Wolverine State Brewing

At the Wolverine State Brewing Company, they love to brew Lagers (they refuse, for instance, to brew ales). And you won’t just find one Lager available at Wolverine State Brewing, located at 2019 W. Stadium Boulevard, you will find 15 lagers on tap (in fact, they recently won a Gold Medal a the Great American Beer Festival so, with Octoberfest coming you don’t want to miss what they have on tap). They also offer a full menu of elevated classic pub fare.

Arbor Brewing Company

Arbor Brewing Company, located at 114 East Washington, they offer 20 beers on tap and they are committed to handcrafted beers, local sourcing, environmental stewardship, and exceptional hospitality. They also offer a menu with traditional area pub fare mixed with surprises (like a beet salad that looks pretty yummy).

Grizzly Peak Brewing Company

The Grizzly Peak Brewing Company, located at 120 West Washington, offers 8 different craft beers on tap daily and has been called a ‘legend in its own time’ by area publications. Enjoy the fresh made daily menu and the rustic environment just as Ann Arborites have since they first opened their doors in 1995.
