Great lobby with free water and couches. Highly recommend trying one of the free oatmeal cookies. Would definitely wait for people in this lobby again. Two thumbs way up. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy. That was the main thought I had staying here. The hallways were close and narrow, but felt homey, not constricting. The breakfast was nice, a bit better than average, insofar as continental breakfasts go. The bathrooms didn't have a door that locked—it was a sliding door. The beds were very nice, with plenty of pillows of varying hardness and shape. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay!

Super-convienent location to U of M central campus. Valet parking very quick so it's a good option vs the city lots. Rooms recently refreshed. Breakfast is nothing special but convenient.

Ann Arbor is a college town and Bell Tower Hotel is the best located "nice" hotel in Central Campus. The fancy restaurant of years past is gone and there is no bar (as of yet). There is no room service and the rooms are pricey. But, this hotel serves the purpose it is intended to; nice rooms at a location close to the Medical Center, and Central Campus. There is a turn down service and there are plenty of great food and drink places within a 2-5 minute walk.

This hotel is so exquisite and marvelous that I am at an utter loss of words in even beginning to find adjectives for it. All right, I suppose "exquisite" and "marvelous" are a good start! Conveniently located on campus, I guarantee there is no better hotel in Ann Arbor. I would bet my life on it. Valet parking is available for $20 per night. Good deal... At five floors tall, there are only 36 rooms available by my count. That is a problem because such a splendid hotel so centrally located is not easy to book, particularly around graduation season or a high-profile sporting event. No matter! What the Bell Tower lacks in quantity, it more than makes up for in quality. Such is the excellence of small business, liable to do so much with less, typically emphasizing quality over quantity. We got the most basic accommodations for the night, but the room more than exceeded my expectations! Certainly better than my stays in similar rooms within big brand hotels, the bathroom was very clean and modern, appearing recently renovated. The lobby staff were very friendly and exhibited class. Halls are decorated with artwork, the overall look of the interior is rustic, almost retro, but well-kept. The hotel building appears to be quite old, but unusually well-maintained and regularly renovated, thus combining the best of the old and the new. It is a hotel with history, and yet fully modern. Needless to say, I enjoyed the complementary breakfast, which was, to be frank, nothing spectacular, but hey! It's free, worked for me...

Overall a good experience. The staff were pleasant. The cons comfortable, modern and clean. The bed was softer than I prefer, but that's typical of hotels.They provide physical keys (see picture) which feels very old fashioned. I didn't use the workout room, but walked down to take a picture. It was quite small.

Very friendly staff helped me get checked in well after midnight. Beautiful hotel with ridiculous TV bathroom mirrors (loved it). The breakfast is good and the lounge area cozy. I appreciated drinking nice tea all day from the breakfast area.

This is a very nice hotel, small, but close to campus. Rooms appear recently updated. The front desk staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast included is very basic, good if you need a quick, light snack. It's minutes away from a lot of really good restaurants. We've stayed at hotels in the area that were less convenient, not as nice, and cost more.

My husband and I decided to go somewhere for the weekend. Just a little getaway so we decided to visit Ann Arbor. We need somewhere nice and conveniently located by stores and restaurants. We were stuck in between hotels. I’m so glad we pick this hotel. The staff was amazing, great hospitality, clean rooms, and great housekeeping.They accommodated every single need I needed during our stay. The staff works as a team. It is absolutely a great hotel. Thanks to the staff at Bell Tower. I’ll be back soon.

Finally attended a family celebration near AA and decided to make a night of it staying at the Bell Tower. Location can't be beat but also the BEST service and the CLEANEST hotel we have even been too. SPOTLESS. Had small room with balcony and just a perfect stay in AA! We will be back for sure.

Hotel is really comfortable and cozy. Only complain is service at front desk. The lady was pretty rude when I asked if they had a spare charger since I had left mine at the office. "Just go to Walgreens and buy one for 5 bucks" in an irritated tone". 25 dollars later I do have an extra charger. Want to buy it back from me lady from the front desk? ?

It was beautiful and clean and basically all of the employees were great. 4/5 because breakfast was a bust. The main food machine wasn't working right and they basically just said oh well so I just got juice and was starving.

Great location and a classic hotel with friendly staff. They have a great free breakfast in the morning in a bright new space, with free New York Times for guests, a nice touch. My room was quite small but there are bigger options available if you spend a bit more. And it was nice and clean. I just wished there was a mini fridge in my room to keep my Michigan beer cold. One could have fit. But it was a small thing. I’d definitely come back.

Nice hotel with an old feel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Walking distance from the amenities of downtown. Valet parking was reasonable for the night. Only complaint would be the heat in the room did not work very well

You cannot beat this location if you want to be within walking distance to all of main campus. Have stayed numerous times as had two kids attend Michigan. Rooms have been renovated and much improved. Breakfast provided a nice bonus. Always great service, very comfortable beds with nice fluffy (plentiful) pillows and crisp white linens. Definitely recommend the $20/day valet parking for the total convenience. The giant chess game in the window is fun when folks actually try to play. Can move a piece each time you walk by. But nobody's perfect 😉 Would be 5 stars if rooms had mini fridge and they could upgrade the elevator service (notoriously slow, ya gotta be patient!). Highly recommend.

Such a cute hidden gem! It was in walking distance to do many great food and shopping locations. Stayed here for a overnight getaway.Breakfast was amazing and everything in the hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. The employees are kind and very professional.Only issue I had was the sleep quality. The mattress was quite uncomfortable and the pillows are the kind where your head sinks all the way thru. Lots of tossing and turning unfortunately. But I'd still stay here again regardless.
